I remember… Aaron Rai. Another 2025 Read The Line winner (+3500) who kept the summer weeks hot! Speaking of hot, we are heading from Minnesota to Greensboro, North Carolina. Hello humidity, it’s time for the final regular-season event of the 2025 FedEx Cup points race: the Wyndham Championship. A field of 156 entries is competing…
I have great news… Scottie Scheffler is NOT in the field this week for the 3M Open. Back from Britain, we head to Blaine, Minnesota, for the seventh time. A rather new event on the calendar, it has developed quite a following from the fans (and bettors) in a rather short amount of time. I…
The 153rd Open Championship takes place on Royal Portrush’s Dunluce Course this weekend. The Open was recently played at Portrush in 2019, with Shane Lowry winning at 15 under par. The course also hosted another Open Championship way back in 1951, with Max Faulkner prevailing at -3.
The Genesis Scottish Open starts my favorite two-week stretch of the season. I love early morning golf from across the Atlantic. The style of play is so entertaining, and watching the world’s best get tested differently is exceptionally entertaining. Combined with the quiet mornings at home before everyone is awake, it brings about a single…
“We’re onto the Quad Cities,” and the John Deere Classic. TPC Deere Run is the host venue and has been for many years. Most treat the tractor tourney as a second-class event, but pay attention this week. Just because only seven of the top 50 in the OWGR are here doesn’t mean you won’t see…
Captain America took down the Travelers as Tommy Fleetwood suffered his most epic heartache ever on the 72nd hole. Congratulations to Keegan Bradley for capturing his eighth career PGA TOUR victory. For a guy who is consistently overlooked by PGA pundits, two signature wins, two FedEx Cup playoff wins, one WGC win, and a PGA…
CROMWELL, CT—I’ve received a million messages about the final round at Oakmont. Notably, a majority of those people were with us and backing Sam Burns to win. Everyone was seeking my opinion on the Burns temporary water decision in the 15th fairway. Here’s my take. Following the deluge on Sunday afternoon, the golf course was…
A field of 156 will start on Thursday, embarking upon a quest to capture one of golf’s toughest treasures. Even the cut at the US Open is hard — only the low 60 and ties will make the weekend. Much is going to be made of this venue, and with good reason. No other club…
Right now, we are in the center of the maelstrom. Signature, major, signature, national open, national open, and signature event all inside seven weeks on the PGA TOUR schedule. At the same time, Scottie Scheffler has decided to go nuclear and play the best golf of his career. The numbers prove it, and it will…
We have six signature winners this season on the PGA TOUR. In those six starts, the average winner’s pre-tournament odds were +2700. None were higher than +4000 (Russell Henley, Sepp Straka) and none lower than +1400 (Rory McIlroy). Their average OWGR before winning: ninth. Those same six individuals are now all ranked inside the top…
