TGL Finals preview: Can Tiger Woods’ team pull another upset victory?
The surprises in TGL’s second season never seem to stop. Upsets always seem to be the theme in March, but this is not the NCAA Tournament.
Starting Monday, the Los Angeles Golf Club (4-2) will compete against the Jupiter Links Golf Club (3-2-1) in a best-of-three series for the SoFi Cup. To put this matchup in perspective, the Los Angeles GC fielded a team of the OWGR’s third-, fourth- and fifth-ranked golfers for part of the regular season. Jupiter Links? Tiger’s local team was the odds-on favorite to finish last.
